Abstract:

学习动机是决定第二语言掌握程度的一个重要因素,它能左右学习者在英语学习中的投入度、主动性、热情和持久力。然而,影响语言学习的因素并不都是正面的,也存在着一些消极和阻碍性的元素,这些通常被指为“动机消退”。在我国的中学阶段,学生学习英语时普遍面临动机消退的问题,这对他们的英语教育造成了多方面的负面效果。本项研究旨在通过调查学生学习英语的具体状况,分析导致学习者在外语学习过程中动机消退的各种原因,并寻求有效的方法和策略来缓解学生学习动机的消退。通过这样的探究,我们期望为提升初中学生的英语学习效果提供实用的建议和指导。
Motivation is an important factor in determining the degree of mastery of a second language, which influences learners’ commitment, initiative, enthusiasm and persistence in learning English. However, not all factors affecting language learning are positive, but there are also some negative and hindering elements, which are often referred to as “demotivation”. At the junior high school in China, it is common for students to face the problem of demotivation when learning English, which has a negative effect on their English education in many ways. The purpose of this study is to investigate the specific situation of students’ English learning, to analyze the various causes of motivation loss in the process of foreign language learning, and to seek effective methods and strategies to alleviate students’ motivation loss. Through such an inquiry, we expect to provide practical suggestions and guidance for improving the English learning effect of junior high school students.
