基于语料库的《小王子》两译本风格对比研究

Abstract:
本文旨在利用自建的《小王子》英汉平行语料库，结合原著的语言风格，对比分析李继宏和程学鑫、连宇译本在词汇和句法等语言特征层面及翻译方法等非语言特征层面的差异与成因。研究发现，两译本存在显著的风格差异，李继宏译本整体采用偏归化的翻译策略，而程学鑫、连宇译本采用偏异化策略。两译本所存在的差异与两位译者的翻译观念、翻译目的及译者所处的社会文化背景紧密相关。
This paper aims to make a comparative study of the stylistic differences between Li Jihong’s and Cheng Xuexin & Lian Yu’s translations of The Little Prince from the perspectives of linguistic features, such as vocabulary and syntax, and non-linguistic features, such as translation methods, by using the self-built English-Chinese parallel corpus of The Little Prince and combining with the language style of the original work. The study finds that there are significant stylistic differences between the two translations. Li Jihong’s translation adopts a more domesticating translation strategy, while Cheng Xuexin & Lian Yu’s translation adopts a more foreignizing strategy. The differences between the two translations are closely related to the translators’ translation concepts, translation purposes, and the social and cultural backgrounds they are in.
