On the Establishment and Development of People’s Films after the Founding of New China —A Case Study of 17 Years’ Films

电影是传播意识形态的重要工具。在新中国成立初期，电影的生产、传播、接受成为特殊历史背景下凝聚思想、开展建设的重要意识形态工具。在“十七年电影”时期，人民电影的提出和实践，为我国的意识形态传播建立稳固的基础，具有现实意义和理论意义。研究“人民电影”对于当下的中国叙事与中国话语具有重要的启示意义。
Movies are an important tool for spreading ideology. In the early days of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the production, dissemination and reception of movies became important ideological tools for uniting thoughts and carrying out construction under the special historical background. During the “Seventeen-Year Film” period, the proposal and practice of “People’s Film” had practical and theoretical significance. It laid a solid foundation for the dissemination of ideology in our country. Studying “People’s Film” has important enlightenment significance for the current Chinese narrative and Chinese discourse.
