集体记忆·社群接受·身份认同:《神仙传》中的神圣性建构

Abstract:
中古时期的修仙者本质上是作为一种社会角色而存在的。《神仙传》中“修仙者”或“仙人”的神圣性是包括“修仙者”或“仙人”在内的社会大众以各式各样的声名维护手段和持续的集体记忆建构而来的。本文认为在解读神仙传记的文本时,应该关注修仙这一行为所处的特定社会环境中公众持续的集体记忆的建构传统、修仙者身份被社群认知、接受的过程以及修仙者在这种过程中的自我身份认同。
In Medieval China, immortals essentially existed as a social role. The sacredness of the “Taoist priests” or “Immortals” in the Shenxianzhuan is constructed by the public, including the “Taoist priests” or “Immortals”, through various means of reputation maintenance and continuous collective memory. This paper holds that when interpreting the texts of The Biography of Taoist Immortal, we should pay attention to the construction tradition of the public’s continuous collective memory in the specific social environment in which the monastic practice of Taoist priestsor Immortals takes place, the process in which the identity of Taoist priestsor Immortals is recognized and accepted by the community, and the self-identity of Taoist priestsor Immortals in this process.
