桐城派学人的边疆史地学和世界史研究
The Borderland History and Geography and World History Research of Tongcheng School Scholars

鸦片战争期间，中国出现了边疆危机，桐城派学人走出书斋，倡导经世之学，对经学、史学、教育学和边疆史地学等诸多领域进行探索，并取得了显著成果。桐城派学人的世界史观由“天下”演变成“万国”，尤以姚莹的边疆史三部曲和王树楠的史学编纂为代表。桐城派学人关注时政，强调学以致用，力求为民安邦，通几质测，迁都建藩，皆有论撰，呼吁人民认清鸦片的危害，严禁鸦片贸易。桐城派学人的边疆史地学和世界史观主要有三个特征，一是因势而变的历史观；二是治史以致用的务实性；三是中西汇通的学术思想。桐城派学人对边疆史地研究和其进化的世界史观中富含生命活力的珍贵因素。
During the Opium War, there was a border crisis in China. Tongcheng sent scholars to go out of the book, advocating the science of the world, exploring many fields such as science, history, education, and border historians, and achieved remarkable results. The world history of Tongcheng School has evolved from “the world” to “all nations”, especially represented by Yao Ying’s border history trilogy and Wang Shinan’s historical compilation. Tongcheng sent scholars to pay attention to the current political affairs, emphasizing the use of schools, and striving for the people’s Anbang. There are three main characteristics of the frontier history and earth studies and world history of Tongcheng School. The first is the historical outlook of changes due to the situation; the second is the pragmatic of the rule of history; the third is the academic thought of China and Western Huitong. The Tongcheng sent scholars in the study of the history and land of the frontiers and their evolutionary world history are rich in precious factor in vitality.
