生态翻译学视域下爱国电影题材的字幕英译研究——以电影《我和我的祖国》字幕翻译为例
A Research on English Translation of Film Subtitles of Patriotic Movies from the Perspective of Eco-Translatology—Taking the Subtitle Translation of the Film My People, My Country as an Example

随着全球化的增强以及中国对外开放的程度进一步加深，越来越多的中国电影在欧美国家播放，影片字幕的翻译显得尤其重要。准确而又地道的字幕能提高观众的观影体验，因而需要字幕翻译工作者从不同方面处理中文字幕的英译。本文以胡庚申教授提出的生态翻译学为理论框架，基于“三维”转换的视角，以电影《我和我的祖国》的英译字幕为例，结合字幕翻译的相关特点，进一步总结译者在进行电影字幕翻译时应采取的翻译技巧和翻译策略。
As globalization intensifies and China’s opening-up deepens, an increasing number of Chinese films are being screened in Europe and the United States. The translation of film subtitles becomes particularly crucial. Accurate and authentic subtitles can enhance the audience’s viewing experience, necessitating subtitle translators to handle the English translation of Chinese subtitles from various perspectives. This article adopts Hu Gengshen’s proposed Ecological Translation Studies as a theoretical framework, based on the perspective of “three-dimensional” transformation. Taking the English translation subtitles of the film My People, My Country as an example and considering the characteristics of subtitle translation, the article further summarizes the translation techniques and strategies that translators should adopt when translating film subtitles.
