生态翻译学视域下中国特色表达外交口译策略研究
A Study on the Diplomatic Interpreting Strategies of Chinese-Specific Expression under the Eco-Translation

当今世界正面临百年未有之大变局，世界多极化、经济全球化、文化多样化成为新的发展趋势，各国人民的命运从未像今天这样紧密相连。面对当前国际力量对比更趋均衡的世界，语言间的口笔译转换能够帮助不同文化背景的人们相互理解。中国外交应当以清晰明确且负责任的方式向外表达中国立场和思想。因此，外交场合的口译至关重要。2023年10月18日，第三届国际合作高峰论坛在北京举行，影响深远。本文以此次论坛的主旨演讲中的中国特色表达为语料，在生态翻译理论指导下探索外交口译中有关中国特色表达的口译策略，旨在有效传播中国声音，讲述中国故事，树立大国形象。
The world today is experiencing transformations unseen in a century. The trends of multipolarity, economic globalization, and cultural diversification are becoming increasingly prominent. People’s destinies are more closely intertwined than ever before. In a world where international power is more balanced, effective translation and interpretation can foster mutual understanding among different cultures. Chinese diplomacy must articulate its positions and perspectives with clarity and responsibility. Hence, interpretation during diplomatic events is of paramount importance. On October 18, 2023, the Opening Ceremony of the Third Forum for International Cooperation was held in Beijing, carrying profound implications. This paper analyzes Chinese-specific expressions used in the keynote speech of the forum, focusing on diplomatic interpreting strategies guided by eco-translatology theory. This approach can effectively amplify China’s voice, narrate its story, and enhance its image as a great nation.
