跨文化视角下张家界谚语英译研究——以武陵源景区告示牌中谚语为例
Study on English Translation of Zhangjiajie Proverbs from a Cross-Cultural Perspective—Taking the Proverb in the Sign of Wulingyuan Scenic Spot as an Example

谚语是中华智慧和中华文化的重要载体，谚语的英译研究历来颇受关注，而能否准确对谚语英译，是让外国友人真正理解中国语言文化的内涵的关键。而关于英汉谚语的研究，国内外学界以往主要关注其具体的句法特征，鲜少揭示其句法特征所隐藏的这两种语言的本质特性差异，更未曾论及这些表象差异背后的内在成因。本文立足于跨文化视角之下，结合张家界本土旅游文化，以张家界旅游景区谚语为研究对象，进行深入分析与探究，试图探索文化背景、地域差异、社会风俗等对谚语英译所产生的影响。本文在探索不同因素对谚语英译产生的影响时，主要以张家界谚语的翻译问题为导向，结合跨文化交际理论研究，从多种角度分析张家界谚语的现有英译，探究英译的可行翻译法，旨在为张家界谚语英译提供相应启示。
Proverbs are an important carrier of Chinese wisdom and culture. The study of English translation of proverbs has always attracted much attention. The accurate translation of proverbs into English is the key to let foreign friends truly understand the connotation of Chinese language and culture. As for the study of English and Chinese proverbs, scholars at home and abroad have focused on their specific syntactic features in the past, and rarely revealed the essential characteristics of the two languages hidden by their syntactic features, let alone the internal causes behind these superficial differences. Based on the cross-cultural perspective and combining with the local tourism culture of Zhangjiajie, this paper takes the proverbs of Zhangjiajie tourist area as the research object, conducts in-depth analysis and exploration, and tries to explore the influence of cultural background, regional differences and social customs on the English translation of proverbs. In exploring the influence of different factors on the English translation of proverbs in Zhangjiajie, this paper focuses on the translation of proverbs in Zhangjiajie, analyzes the existing English translation of proverbs in Zhangjiajie from various perspectives, and explores feasible translation methods in combination with the study of cross-cultural communication theories, aiming at providing corresponding enlightenment for the English translation of proverbs in Zhangjiajie.
