文化符号学视阈下史诗《格萨尔》英译研究——以王国振英译本为例
A Study on English Translation of King Gesar from the Perspective of Cultural Semiotics—Based on Wang Guozhen’s English Version

史诗《格萨尔》王国振译本是众多译本中首部由中华本土译者采用汉语中介模式协力完成的英译本。本文基于文化符号学理论，从文学文本、二级模式系统、符号域层面对其进行探讨与分析，探究汉语中介模式及本土译者与少数民族学者合作翻译模式对民族典籍外译的影响。这两种模式有效降低民族典籍外译的难度，丰富文化的表达方式，以期为中华典籍外译提供一些帮助。
The Wang Guozhen version of the King Gesar is the first English version among many translations, which was completed by Chinese native translators with the help of Chinese intermediary mode. This paper is based on the theory of cultural semiotics. Based on the theory of cultural semiotics, this paper discusses and analyzes it from the aspects of cultural text, second-order modeling system, semiosphere, and explores the influence of Chinese intermediary mode and cooperative translation mode between local translators and minority scholars on the foreign translation of national classics. These two modes reduce the difficulty of foreign translation of national classics and enrich cultural expressions, so as to provide some help for foreign translation of Chinese classics.
