功能对等理论视角下政府文件中的汉英翻译研究——以《2024年政府工作报告》为例
A Study on C-E Translation of Government Document from the Perspective of Functional Equivalence Theory—Taking the Report on the Work of the Government in 2024 as an Example

政府工作报告是对我国政治工作内容的年度总结，其文本内容严谨、用词精准、语言风格庄重。作为世界认识和了解中国的重要窗口之一，其英译的精炼性和准确性显得至关重要。本文在尤金·奈达的功能对等理论指导下，深入探讨了该文本中无主语句式、中国特色词汇、语义相近词汇以及数字的翻译等问题，并据此总结出了相应的翻译策略和方法。本研究通过相应的举例分析，论证了该翻译理论和各种翻译方法在翻译实践中的适用性和指导作用，这将为今后同类文本的翻译提供一定的借鉴和参考价值。
The Report on the Work of the Government is an annual summary in political field in China, with rigorous content, precise words, and solemn language. As one of the important ways for the world to know China well, it is crucial to ensure the conciseness and accuracy of its English translation. Under the guidance of Eugene Nida’s theory of functional equivalence, this article deeply analyzed the translation of subjectless sentence structures, Chinese characteristic vocabulary, semantically similar vocabulary, and numbers in the document, and summarized corresponding translation strategies and methods. This study demonstrated the applicability and guiding role of the translation theory and various translation methods in translation practice through corresponding case analyses, which will provide some references for the translation of similar texts in the future.
