Abstract:

高校官方网站作为一个重要的传播窗口,许多外界人士都会积极通过网站推送新闻来了解高校最新发展动态。高校网站新闻翻译从传播学视域下进行研究,在丰富新闻翻译研究内容的同时,也开辟了新闻翻译研究的新范式。高校网站新闻文本往往具有网络化、数字化等特征也具有其独特的专业性、描述性和交际性,这类文本在翻译过程中涉及到传播者、接收者、传播效果等要素,而翻译传播的最终目的则是要保证信息的准确性、科学性。从传播效果这一要素出发,译者可以通过采取减译、增译、意译、重构等翻译策略,充分考虑到源语读者和译语读者之间的文化差异,以实现最佳的传播效果。
As an important communication window, university official websites are frequently visited by external stakeholders who actively seek news updates to obtain relevant information. Analyzing news translation on university websites through the lens of communication studies can offer new insights into translation research and enhance its scope. Website news articles are characterized by networking and digital elements, as well as their unique professionalism, descriptiveness, and communicability. During the translation process of such texts, various elements such as the communicator, receiver, and the impact of communication are involved, and the ultimate goal of translation is to ensure accuracy and scientificity of information. Starting from the element of communication impact, translators can employ strategies like reduction, addition, and free translation to account for cultural disparities between source and target language readers, thereby optimizing the dissemination outcomes.
