国际工程合同英译汉中被动语态的翻译方法——以《FIDIC施工合同条件》为例
Translation Methods of Passive Voice in English-Chinese Translation of International Engineering Contracts—Taking “FIDIC” (Conditions of Contract for Construction) as an Example

随着数字化转型和绿色可持续发展为国际工程行业带来了新机遇，国际工程合作不断深化，国际工程合同的翻译也变得愈发重要。由于工程合同文本通常具有严谨和客观的特点，因此被动语态的运用在其中占据着重要地位。作为全球公认的国际工程合同范本，FIDIC合同对世界各国的工程合同产生了深远的影响，具有一定的研究价值。本文通过对比1999年出版的《FIDIC施工合同条件》的中英文本，去探讨国际工程合同文本中被动语态的英译汉转换之道，以便该领域的译者或学习者能够灵活翻译被动语态。
As digital transformation and green sustainable development bring new opportunities for the international engineering industry, international engineering cooperation is deepening, and the translation of international engineering contracts becomes more and more significant. Since engineering contract texts are usually characterized by precise and objective, the use of the passive voice plays an important role in them. FIDIC, as a recognized model of international engineering contracts, has had a profound impact on engineering contracts around the world and has certain research value. By comparing the English and Chinese versions of “FIDIC” (Conditions of Contract for Construction) published in 1999, this paper discussed the English-Chinese translation methods of the passive voice in international engineering contracts, so that translators or learners in this field can translate passive voice flexibly.
