简论徐复观自由主义儒学思想
A Brief Discussion of Xu Fuguan’s Liberal Confucianism

徐复观作为现代新儒家的代表人物之一，他把西方之自由民主等价值视为其现代政治文化思想的基本坐标，但他并非盲目接受西方观念的全盘西化者，从根本上说他是一位儒者，他主张立足于中国儒家思想，对自由主义思想进行取其精华，去其糟粕。徐复观对西方自由主义思想进行了扬弃，进而把其与儒家思想中的相适资源相结合，以性善论为基础，从民本转到民主，最后形成了他的以儒家思想为底色，结合自由主义思想的自由主义儒学思想，完成了他对于现代政治文化的探索。
As one of the representatives of modern New Confucianism, Xu Fuguan regarded western values such as freedom and democracy as the basic coordinates of his modern political and cultural thoughts, but he was not a completely westernized person who blindly accepted Western ideas. Fundamentally speaking, he was a Confucian. He advocated taking the essence of liberal thoughts and eliminating the dregs based on Chinese Confucianism. Xu Fuguan sublated the western liberal thought, then combined it with the appropriate resources in Confucianism, based on the theory of good nature, from minben to democracy, and finally formed his liberal Confucianism with Confucianism as the background and liberal thought, completing his exploration of modern political culture.
