Abstract:

英语作业不仅是影响英语教学质量的重要环节,也是对学生英语学习效果的检验,更是学生思考问题、解决问题能力的具体体现。然而,在实际教学实践中,英语作业存在重“量”轻“质”、缺乏多样性和针对性、实效性不强等问题。这些问题不仅加重了学生的学习负担,也影响了学生的英语学习。基于以上问题,2021年以来,中共中央办公厅、国务院办公厅、教育部相继下发了关于减轻义务教育阶段学生日常作业和校外培训负担的文件。本研究运用问卷调查法了解“双减”背景下初中英语作业现状,并提出了明确作业目标的原则、趣味性原则、理论与实践相结合的原则、以及多元化与量力性的多元化作业设计原则,对“双减”背景下设计有效的英语作业具有重要意义。
English homework is not only an important link affecting the quality of English teaching, but also a test of students’ English learning effect, and a concrete embodiment of students’ ability to think and solve problems. However, in actual teaching practice, English homework exists problems such as attaching importance to the “quantity of homework” and belittling the “quality of homework”, lack of diversity and relevance, and poor effectiveness. These problems not only increase students’ learning burden, but also affect students’ English learning. Based on the above problems, since 2021, the General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the General Office of the State Council and the Ministry of Education have issued documents on reducing the burden of daily homework and out-of-school training for students in compulsory education. This study employs a questionnaire survey method to investigate the current state of English homework in junior high schools amidst the “Double Reduction” policy. It proposes principles for diversified homework design such as the principle of clear homework objectives, the principle of fun, the principle of combining theory and practice, and the principle of diversity and capacity, which are crucial for creating effective English homework under this policy.
