Abstract:

Uterine leiomyoma is the most common benign tumor in women. Leiomyoma with a diameter greater than 10 cm is generally referred to huge uterine myoma, which is relatively rare in clinical practice, especially in secondary pseudo-Meigs’ syndrome. This article reports a case of huge uterine myomamore than 20 cm with abdominal effusion, and reviews the relevant literature in combination with this case to analyze the causes of the abdominal effusion in pseudo-Meigs’ syndrome and the importance of multi-disciplinary consultation for huge uterine myoma.
