基于语料库的《论语》儒家思想关键词英译研究

Abstract:
本文基于《论语》汉英平行语料库，以卡特福德翻译转换理论为指导，对许渊冲《论语》英译本中的儒家思想关键词进行英译研究。以期总结儒家思想主要关键词“仁、义、礼、智、信”在范畴转换后，在译入语中的级阶变化，并以此角度学习探究许渊冲先生翻译《论语》儒家思想关键词的特点。
Based on the Chinese-English parallel corpus, this article is done to study the English translation of key words of Confucianism in the Analects of Confucius under the guidance of Catford’s translation theory. The purpose of this article is to analyze and conclude the unit shift of the key words including “Ren, Yi, Li, Zhi and Xin” in the target language, and to discover the features of these key words translated by Mr. Xu Yuanchong.
