语境顺应论视角下的《射雕英雄传》英译研究
Study on the English Version of Legends of the Condor Heroes from the Perspective of Contextual Adaptation Theory

《射雕英雄传》作为一部以“武侠”为题材的小说，不仅在国内口碑载道，名声籍甚，甚至英译本一经出版就在英语国家掀起“武侠”热潮，同时，语境顺应理论是当代语言研究的热点问题之一，因此本文从语境顺应论视角出发，选取张菁和郝玉青合译的《射雕英雄传》，具体分析英译作品中如何体现语境的顺应，并分析译者的主体考量，看其是如何在顺应原语和目的语的语言语境同时，在心理世界、社交世界和物理世界的交际语境中也顺应得恰到好处，在动态顺应中展现最佳的翻译效果。本研究为武侠小说对外翻译的建设和发展提供了可借鉴的研究内容。
Legends of the Condor Heroes, as a novel based on the theme of “martial arts”, not only has a good reputation in China, but even the English translation of the book set off a “martial arts craze” in English-speaking countries as soon as it was published. And the theory of contextual adaptation is one of the hot issues in the study of contemporary language. Therefore, from the perspective of contextual adaptation theory, this paper selects Legends of the Condor Heroes, which is translated by Gigi Chang and Anna Holmwood, to analyze the translation version how to reflect the contextual adaptation, and to analyze the translator’s subjective consideration, so as to see how to adapt to the linguistic contexts of the original language and the target language as well as the communicative contexts of the mental world, the social world and the physical world, and show the best translation results in the dynamic adaptation. This study attempts to provide the construction and development of translations of martial arts novels with research content.
