党的历次报告中都提到要加强思想政治教育建设，特别是要加强职业学校思想政治教育建设，要向社会传播优质的思想政治教育资源，构建职业学校思想政治教育新模式，为构建全民终身学习型社会服务。普通高校通过以下几种形式开展继续教育学习：函授、业余、脱产和网络，这既满足了当今社会的发展需求，又推动了终身学习型社会的形成。
All the previous reports of the Party mentioned that the construction of ideological and political education should be strengthened, especially the construction of ideological and political education in vocational schools and the dissemination of high-quality ideological and political education resources to the society, to construct a new mode of ideological and political education in vocational schools to serve the construction of a life-long learning society. Colleges and universities carry out continuing education learning through correspondence, part-time, off-job and online, which not only meets the development needs of today’s society, but also promotes the formation of a lifelong learning society.
