|
Abstract:
Chemerin, a adipokine secreted by adipocytes, is highly expressed in white adipose tissue and exerts its biological effects through autocrine/paracrine mechanisms. It is associated with obesity, insulin resistance, and metabolic syndrome. In recent years, Chemerin has gained particular attention due to its multiple roles in various organs and systems, such as metabolism, inflammation, and cancer control. Therefore, actively exploring the role of Chemerin in related diseases such as hypertension, glucose and lipid metabolism, and tumors can contribute to the early diagnosis of clinical diseases and provide new directions for the treatment of related diseases.
