韵律音系学视域下大学英语语调教学研究

Abstract:

语调作为语言运用的核心要素,对语言交际功能的实现至关重要。本文针对大学非英语专业语调问题,重点探讨了当前语调教学、语调习得的现状及其存在的常见问题。在此基础上,基于韵律音系学的相关理论框架,从语调短语切分、音高重调、焦点位置和调型使用等四个方面着重分析了英语语调习得问题产生的根源,并提出了相应的教学改进策略,促进学生听说读写能力的全面发展。
As a core element of language use, intonation is crucial to the realization of the communicative function of language. This paper focuses on the intonation problem of non-English majors in universities, and focuses on the current situation of intonation teaching, intonation acquisition and its common problems. On this basis, based on the relevant theoretical framework of metrical phonology, it analyses the root causes of English intonation acquisition problems from four aspects: intonation phrase cuts, pitch stress, focus position and tonal pattern use, and proposes corresponding teaching improvement strategies to promote the comprehensive development of students’ listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities.
