|
Abstract:
Atrial fibrillation (AF) is the most common arrhythmia in clinic at present. With the increasing aging problem in China, the prevalence rate of AF increases with age. The key link in the occurrence and development of atrial fibrillation is atrial anatomical remodeling and abnormal electrophysiological mechanism, and atrial fibrosis is involved in structural remodeling and electrical remodeling of atrial fibrillation, which is the pathological basis of the occurrence and development of atrial fibrillation. Catheter ablation has become the first-line treatment of atrial fibrillation, but there is recurrence after atrial fibrillation. Atrial fibrosis plays an important role in recurrence, so early intervention of atrial fibrosis may play a certain role in the prevention and treatment of atrial fibrillation and reducing recurrence after radiofrequency ablation. This paper systematically reviews the research progress of atrial fibrosis in the recurrence of atrial fibrillation, in order to find a new therapeutic target for the treatment of recurrent atrial fibrillation after operation.
