青少年网络游戏玩家聚类分析及结果可视化

Abstract:
研究目的是分析青少年网络游戏玩家网络游戏使用与个体的人格特质水平、家庭环境之间的关系,并进一步探究了作为非认知能力的人格特质如何影响个体网络游戏使用,分析父子关系是否会通过中介变量父子感情影响个体使用网络游戏,最后结合这些变量对青少年网络游戏玩家进行分类,然后PCA分析降温得到两个主成分,并在二维图形之中将玩家个体聚类分析的结果通过可视化的方式展现。本研究的样本包含2501中国青少年被试,其中男生1413个,女生1088个(M = 14.2, SD = 1.52)。研究结果表明,人格特质、父子关系会影响个体网络游戏使用,根据变量划分得到网络游戏玩家群体中存在八种子类。本结果划分得到的子类在游戏成瘾以及暴力电子游戏接触上的不同为将来进行预测成瘾倾向的研究提供了支持。
The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between adolescent internet gamers’ internet game use and individual personality trait level. The relationship between the family environment and the relationship between the family environment and the personality traits as non-cognitive abilities affect the use of internet games by individuals, and the analysis of whether the father-adolescent relationship affects the use of internet games by mediating variables of father-adolescent feelings, and finally combined with these variables to classify adolescent internet gamers, and then the PCA analysis cooled down to obtain two principal components, and the results of individual player cluster analysis were visualized in the two-dimensional graph. The sample of 2501 Chinese adolescents in this study included 1413 boys and 1088 girls (M = 14.2, SD = 1.52). The results show that personality traits and father-adolescent relationship affect individual internet game use, and there are eight types of internet gamers according to the variables. The differences in the subcategories of game addiction and exposure to violent video games obtained by this result provide support for future research on predicting addiction propensity.
