人教版高中英语教材文化内容的类型分析及启示

Abstract:

本文以2019年人教版高中英语必修教材1至3册为对象,运用Cortazzi & Jin提出的文化内容分类标准,对教材中的文化元素进行了深入分析。研究发现,教材内容涵盖了源文化、目的语文化、国际文化以及中性文化等多个维度,其中源文化和目的语文化内容较为丰富,而中性文化、国际文化内容的展示则相对较少。基于此,本文提出建议,教师应有效整合教材中的文化资源,并在教学实践中融入更多跨文化交际活动,以增强学生的学习动机和提升他们的文化意识。
This study focuses on the analysis of cultural elements in the first three volumes of the 2019 PEP high school English compulsory textbooks, using the cultural content classification system proposed by Cortazzi & Jin. The analysis reveals that the textbook extensively covers source culture, target language culture, international culture, and neutral culture. The content related to the source culture and the target language culture is relatively rich, while the presentation of neutral culture and international culture is comparatively less. The article suggests that teachers should fully utilize the cultural resources in the textbooks and creatively design cross-cultural communication activities to stimulate students’ enthusiasm for learning and cultivate their cultural sensitivity and global perspective.
