Abstract:

自2000年跨文化能力的培养写入国家级教学大纲以来,跨文化教学成为高校英语教学与研究的热点。教师在跨文化能力的培养中扮演着极为关键的角色。本文对2000年以来中国高校英语教师的跨文化教学信念和跨文化教学实践研究进行综述,通过梳理高校英语教师对跨文化教学的观点和态度,以及跨文化教学在高校的实施情况,了解跨文化能力培养的现状,为以后的跨文化教学提供参考。
Since the inclusion of intercultural competence in the national teaching syllabus in 2000, intercultural teaching has become a focal point in English teaching and research at the tertiary level. Teachers play a crucial role in promoting students’ intercultural competence, so it is vital to investigate teachers’ beliefs and practices of intercultural teaching. This paper reviews research on the beliefs and practices of Chinese university English teachers regarding intercultural teaching since 2000, aiming to understand the current status of intercultural teaching in Chinese higher education, provide a reference for future intercultural teaching, and find the gap for future research in the field.
