Abstract:

通识教育作为美国高等教育的重要组成部分,是一种与专业教育相对的强调综合性与思维性的广泛教育。哈佛大学建校于殖民地时期,其通识教育改革历史悠久,最新一轮改革于2014年启动,2019年正式实际实施。因此,在哈佛大学新一轮通识教育改革正式实施的第五年头,深入研究其新一轮改革背景、内容、理念和效果,对于推动我国高等教育通识教育改革的发展具有十分重要的启迪意义。
As an important part of American higher education, general education is an overall education that emphasizes comprehensiveness and thinking compared to professional education. Founded in colonial times, Harvard has a long history of general education reform, with the latest round of reform launched in 2014 and officially implemented in 2019. Therefore, in the fifth year of formal implementation of the new general education system at Harvard University, a thorough study of the new reform background, content, ideology and effect is of great significance to promote the development of the general education reform in higher education of our country.
