Abstract:
The success of endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) relies on selective bile duct intubation (SBC), which is the most important step in ERCP. However, traditional techniques to ac-cess the biliary system may fail in 5% to 35% of cases. Therefore, in patients undergoing ERCP, there is a need for more advanced access technology.
