Abstract:

在全球化背景下,高等教育正积极推动学科交叉融合,以培养具备国际视野和跨文化沟通能力的复合型人才。文章聚焦于《跨文化国际传播英语教程》第五单元“Combating Climate Change”教学实践案例,展示如何将新闻学与传播学知识如何与大学英语教学相结合,实现学科交叉的教育理念,特别是在气候变化这一全球性议题的教学中。这种融合教学模式的开展为提高学生的英语语言技能、增强他们对新闻传播学理论的应用能力,以及在跨文化语境中有效沟通的能力提供新的思路。
In the context of globalization, higher education is actively promoting interdisciplinary integra-tion to cultivate compound talents with international perspectives and cross-cultural communication competence. This article focuses on the teaching practice case of the fifth unit “Combating Climate Change” from the “Cross-Cultural International Communication English Course”, demonstrating how knowledge from journalism and communication studies can be integrated with college English teaching to realize the educational philosophy of interdisciplinary integration, particularly in the teaching of the global issue of climate change. The implementation of this integrated teaching model provides new insights for enhancing students’ English language skills, strengthening their ability to apply journalism and communication theories, and improving their capacity for effective communication in cross-cultural contexts.
