Abstract:

文化是一个国家、一个民族的灵魂,文化兴国运兴,文化强民族强。文化自信是我国增强文化软实力的前提条件。作为高中英语教育工作者,应充分意识到在教学中培养学生文化自信的重要性。本文以高中英语教学为切入点,分析培养学生文化自信的必要性,探究在教学中培育学生文化自信的策略。为提升其文化意识,讲好中国故事,弘扬中华优秀传统文化打下坚实的基础。
Culture is the soul of a country and a nation. A country will thrive only if its culture thrives, and the nation will be strong only if its culture is strong. Cultural self-confidence serves as a prerequisite for enhancing the cultural soft power of China. Senior English educators should be fully aware of the importance of cultivating students’ cultural self-confidence in the course of teaching. Taken senior English teaching as the start point, this thesis analyzes the necessity of cultivating students’ cultural self-confidence and explores the strategies for cultivating students’ cultural self-confidence. Hence, students can enhance their cultural awareness, tell Chinese stories well, and lay a solid foundation for carrying forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture.
