BiOI/Brookite TiO2
|
Abstract:
The research focused on brookite TiO2, and BiOI/brookite composite materials were prepared by combining BiOI with it using a hydrothermal method. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM) were used to characterize the composites, and the crystal phase composition and morphology of the sample were analyzed and discussed. Using tetracycline as the target pollutant, the photocatalytic activity of BiOI/brookite composites was investigated. The results indicated that under visible light irradiation, the 8 mol% BiOI/brookite composites achieved a degradation rate of 82% for tetracycline within 110 min.
