《山海经》动物专名英译的范畴转换模式分析

范畴转换在翻译研究中应用甚广，其理论的发展也随着应用与研究的开拓而更加深入。目前，范畴转换已经不仅仅局限于最开始的语言范畴转换这一个层面，而是将认知因素合理融入，完善认知翻译学体系，为翻译研究提供新的思路，注入新的活力。运用范畴转换模式可以解决专名翻译中含义表达不全面的问题，为专名翻译提供具有可操作性的新思维。本文通过研究《山海经》中的专名含义及其四个著名译本中的专名翻译观察其范畴转换模式的应用情况及应用效果，探索范畴转换模式在专名翻译中的操作可能性，为专名翻译提供新的思路。
Category shift is widely used in translation studies, and the development of its theory has been deepened with the development of application and research. At present, category shift is not only limited to the initial level of language category transformation, but also integrates cognitive factors to improve the cognitive translation system, and provide new ideas and inject new vitality into translation research. The category shift model can solve the problem of incomplete meaning ex-pression in proper name translation, and provide new practical thinking for proper name transla-tion. This paper studies the meaning of proper names in the Classic of Mountains and Seas and the proper names in four famous translations, observes the application and application effect of the category shift mode, explores the operation possibility of the category shift mode in proper name translation, and provides new ideas for proper name translation.
