翻译适应选择论下的“名从主人”翻译原则研究——以新疆地名英译为例
A Study on the Translation Principle of “Ming Cong Zhuren” under the Theory of Transla-tion as Adaptation and Selection—Taking the C-E Translation of Xinjiang Place Names as an Example

胡庚申的翻译适应选择论聚焦于“语言维”、“文化维”和“交际维”三个维度，以实现翻译的适应性选择转换。“名从主人”是地名翻译时需要遵守的基本原则之一。本文在翻译适应选择论的指导下，主要从“三维”中的“文化维”与“交际维”两个层面，遵循“名从主人”的翻译原则，探究新疆地名英译的翻译方法，通过二维结合达到生态翻译的目的，以提高新疆地名英译的准确性。
Hu Gengshen’s theory of translation as adaptation and selection puts emphasis on the “language dimension”, “cultural dimension” and “communicative dimension” in order to achieve adaptive se-lection of translation transformation. “Ming Cong Zhuren” is one of the fundamental guidelines to follow while translating the proper nouns. This paper, which is based on the theory of translation as adaptation and selection, focuses on the “cultural dimension” and “communicative dimension” of “three dimensions”, adheres to the translation principle of “Ming Cong Zhuren” and analyses the translation methods of C-E translation of Xinjiang place names, to realize the accuracy of the trans-lation of Xinjiang place names and achieve the goal of ecological translation through a two-dimensional combination.
