系统功能语法视角下近八年中国新年贺词英译本的人际语义探析
Analysis of the Interpersonal Meaning of Chinese New Year Greeting Messages’ English Versions from 2016 to 2023: A Systemic Functional Approach

新年贺词作为政治语篇的一种，是一国内政外交的风向标与文化话语的重要组成部分，是构建国家形象、彰显国际话语权的重要文本。本文从系统功能语法的人际功能出发，主要从语气系统、情态、人称三个方面对比分析了近八年中国新年贺词英译本中实现人际功能方式的共性和差异。本文也通过分析新年贺词的话语内容和情感态度来更加充分地理解话语背后的中国国家形象与价值认同的构建，并进一步探讨其国际传播作用。
As the political speech text, the NYGM is an important part of a country’s internal and foreign affairs, cultural discourse, as well as an important text to build a national image and highlight the interna-tional discourse power. Starting from the interpersonal meaning of system functional grammar, this paper analyzes the similarities and differences between the ways of realizing interpersonal function in Chinese NYGM’s English versions from 2016 to 2023. This paper focuses on the aspects of mood system, modality and person. Through the analysis, the construction of China’s national image and value identity are clearer, and further discussions are put forward for better international commu-nication.
