Abstract:

得益于网络信息技术的不断进步与发展,中国与各国之间经济往来愈发频繁,跨境电商由此获得了很好的发展契机。由于英文的使用广泛,国内商家在跨境电商平台多设置英文页面,故英文翻译的正确性尤其重要。本文基于功能对等理论,研究跨境电商平台中公司介绍及产品信息,售后服务等汉译英翻译。结果发现由于受语言,文化及其他因素影响,绝大多数跨境电商在词汇,句法,语境,文体等方面的翻译上出现了与原文不对等的问题。在分析以上问题的基础上,本文将以速卖通网页为例,在功能对等的视角下,从词汇对等,句法对等,文化语境,文体对等角度分析网页上的翻译,并就如何提高译文质量,提出个人见解。本研究可为跨境电商页面翻译工作者提供参考作用,改善目前跨境电商网站的汉译英译文的翻译质量。
With the development of network information technology, trades between China and other coun-tries have become increasingly frequent, and cross-border e-commerce has thus crept in. Given the widespread use of English, domestic businesses often set up English pages on e-commerce plat-forms, so English translation’s accuracy is fundamentally essential. Based on the functional equiva-lence theory, this thesis studies Chinese-English translations of company introductions, product de-scriptions, and after-sales services in cross-border e-commerce platforms. Due to the influence of language, culture, and other factors, most of the cross-border e-commerce businesses have prob-lems with translation in terms of vocabulary, syntax, context, and style that are not equivalent to the original text. On the basis of analyzing the above problems, this paper will take Ali Express as an example, analyzing the translation on web pages from the perspectives of lexical equivalence, syn-tactic equivalence, cultural context, and stylistic equivalence under the perspective of functional equivalence, to provide personal insights on how to improve translation quality. This study can provide a reference for cross-border e-commerce page translators and improve the translation quality of current Chinese-English translations of the cross-border e-commerce web page.
