An application-oriented university is a type of undergraduate education that aims to cultivate students’ practical and innovative abilities. In the new era, we should continually carry forward the Relocation Spirit of Universities and actively promote the High-Quality development of ideo-logical and political education in application-oriented universities. For this purpose, we will strive to grasp the following points for promoting the Relocation Spirit of Universities: Adhering to the core of the Relocation Spirit of Universities and carrying forward the tradition of “Patriotism”. Absorbing the essence of the Relocation Spirit of Universities, and strengthening a belief in “obeying the party’s command and following the party”. Inheriting and innovating, implementing the task of morality education. Educating the heart, letting the ideological and political curriculum construction uphold fundamental principles and breaking new ground. At the same time, it is necessary to actively promote the High-Quality development of ideological and political education in application-oriented universities, strengthen and improve the leadership of the Communist Party of China over education, implement the education policy of the Communist Party of China, innovative teaching methods of education, focus on the key issues, actively build some new media education platforms, and so on.
