农村老年群体互联网使用差异及其影响因素探究——基于CGSS2021数据的实证分析
Exploring the Differences in Internet Usage among Rural Elderly Population and its Influencing Factors—An Empirical Analysis Based on CGSS2021 Data

利用“中国综合社会调查2021年居民问卷(CGSS)”数据，采用了Logit回归模型分析了农村老年群体在使用互联网上的差异，并就影响农村老年群体使用互联网的因素进行分析。研究发现，农村地区老年人的人口特征中的年龄对其互联网使用行为有影响，而性别和婚姻状况变量，结果并不十分显著；农村地区老年人的社会经济地位状况中的年收入和文化程度等对于互联网使用有影响，不同社会经济地位的老年人在使用互联网这一行为上存在显著差异。农村地区老年人自身的健康状况和认知能力也会对其互联网使用产生正向影响，健康状况较好和认知能力强的老年人更可能使用互联网。
Using data from the “Chinese General Social Survey 2021 (CGSS)”, this study employs a Logit regression model to analyze the differences in internet usage among rural elderly populations and examines the factors influencing their internet usage. The study finds that age, among the demographic characteristics of rural elderly individuals, has an impact on their internet usage behavior, while gender and marital status variables do not show significant results. Socioeconomic factors such as annual income and educational level also influence internet usage among rural elderly individuals, with significant differences observed in internet usage behavior among elderly individuals of different socioeconomic statuses. Additionally, the study reveals that the health status and cognitive abilities of rural elderly individuals have a positive impact on their internet usage, with those in better health and with stronger cognitive abilities being more likely to use the internet.
