知识翻译学视阈下《伤寒论》英译策略探究
An Analysis of the English Translation of Treatise on Febrile Diseases from the Perspective of Metatranslatology

《伤寒论》作为中国医学历史上首部全面的临床经典，其英译研究受到诸多学者关注，然以往研究多从译者主观方面入手，其翻译策略与方法也并未形成统一标准，聚讼纷纭。有鉴于此，本文以知识翻译学为理论基础，从其“真善美”的标准分析目前《伤寒论》英译中存在的优缺点，以期为中医典籍的英译以及中医文化的国际传播提供新的思路，助力地方性知识中医文化走向世界化、普遍化。
Treatise on Febrile Diseases stands as the first comprehensive clinical classic in Chinese medicine history, drawing substantial scholarly attention to its English translation. Nevertheless, previous research predominantly approached this subject from the translator’s subjective perspective, re-sulting in a lack of standardized translation strategies and methods, leading to inconsistencies. In light of this, this study leverages Metatranslatology as a theoretical framework to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of current English translations of Treatise on Febrile Diseases against the principles of “Real Meanings, Full Preparations and TT Aesthetic Conceptions”, aiming to contribute fresh perspectives to the English translation of TCM texts and the global promotion of traditional Chinese medicine heritage and aid local authorities in ensuring that the knowledge and culture of TCM become increasingly accessible worldwide.
