Rural tourism is a kind of characteristic tourism form, which refers to tourists to visit, sightseeing, leisure, vacation and other activities in rural areas or towns. Rural tourism, as a new form of tourism, has an important impact on rural economic development. This paper will elaborate the influence of rural tourism on rural economic development from the aspects of influencing factors of rural tourism development, the significance of rural tourism development, the existing problems of rural tourism development and the countermeasures of rural tourism development, aiming at providing development ideas for rural tourism construction.
