查尔莫斯结构主义视域下的虚拟实在论
Virtual Realism in the Perspective of Chalmers’ Structuralism

VR技术的迅速发展为我们带来了未来社会形态和人类生活方式的全新可能。与虚拟反实在论传统相反，查尔莫斯提出了一种虚拟实在论，引起了学界的研究和讨论。该理论在本体论上表现为一种虚拟数字主义，主张虚拟实在是一种数字化的物理实在。若孤立地考察虚拟实在论，该理论确实面临着一些问题。但如果接受查尔莫斯结构主义的观点，虚拟实在和物理实在实际上只是同一个因果结构两种不同的实现。因此，在结构主义立场上，虚拟实在是一种实际存在的物理实在。
The rapid development of VR technology has brought about entirely new possibilities for future societal forms and human lifestyles. In contrast to the traditional virtual anti-realism, Chalmers has proposed a theory known as virtual realism, sparking research and discussions within the academic community. This theory, in ontological terms, manifests as a form of virtual digitalism, asserting that virtual reality is a digitized physical reality. When examined in isolation, virtual realism does indeed encounter certain challenges. However, if one accepts Chalmers’ structuralist perspective, virtual reality and physical reality are essentially just two different manifestations of the same causal structure. Therefore, from a structuralist standpoint, virtual reality is a form of actual physical reality.
