基于语料库的名词搭配行为对比研究——以“Ability”为例
A Corpus-Based Contrastive Study on Collocation Behavior of Noun—Taking “Ability” as Example

本文选择中国学习者英语笔语语料库(WECCL)作为研究的语料基础，以英语本族语者语料库(LOCNESS)为英语本族语者参照语料库。本文分析了中国英语学习者在使用名词ability时所使用的动词、形容词及介词搭配以及类联接方面呈现的特征和存在的问题，研究结果表明，中国英语学习者在使用ability这一词语搭配上与本族语者存在一定的差异，中国英语学习者动词类和形容词这两类的搭配词的丰富度不如英语本族语者，且中国英语学习者在使用名词ability与介词的搭配上存在一定程度上的误用。
In this paper, the written English corpus of Chinese learners (WECCL) is chosen as the corpus base for the study, and the louvain corpus of native English essays (LOCNESS) is used as the reference corpus for native speakers of English. This paper analyzes the characteristics and problems of Chi-nese learners of English in terms of verb, adjective and preposition collocation and colligation when using the noun ability. The results of the study show that there are some differences between Chi-nese learners of English and native speakers in the use of the word collocation of ability, Chinese learners of English are not as rich as native speakers of English in the collocations of verb classes and adjectives, and there is a certain degree of misuse of the collocations of ability and prepositions by Chinese learners of English.
