Life Satisfaction Analysis and Influencing Factors of Elderly Living Alone in China—Based on 2018 CLHLS Data

文章基于2018年的CLHLS数据，研究我国独居老人生活满意度的影响因素，采用描述性分析和二元Logistic回归，以分析个人基本情况、居住环境、家人陪伴情况、社区养老服务供给这四个维度对独居老人生活满意度的影响程度。经研究发现：老年人是否感到孤独、生活来源是否够用、自评健康状态、家中是否漏雨或者被水淹过、子女看望率和社区是否提供精神慰藉聊天解闷是独居老人生活满意度的影响因素。文章得出如下结论：为提高独居老人的生活满意度并加快融入“健康老龄化”理念，应当保障独居老人最基本的生活水平，重视独居老人的健康状况并且着重关注独居老人的心理健康。
Based on the CLHLS data of 2018, this paper studies the influencing factors of the life satisfaction of the elderly living alone in China. Descriptive analysis and binary Logistic regression are used to analyze the impact of four dimensions, namely personal basic situation, living environment, family companionship and community elderly care service supply, on the life satisfaction of the elderly living alone. This study found that whether the elderly feel lonely, whether the sources of living are enough, self-rated health status, whether the home is leaking or flooded, the rate of children’s visit and whether the community provides spiritual comfort and chat are the factors affecting the life satisfaction of the elderly living alone. The article draws the following conclusions: in order to improve the life satisfaction of the elderly living alone and accelerate the integration into the concept of “healthy aging”, the basic living standards of the elderly living alone should be ensured and attentions should be paid to both the physical and mental health status of elderly individuals living alone.
