《基础英语》课程思政元素的挖掘与融入策略

Abstract:
作为英语专业一二年级的核心课程,《基础英语》课程成为英语专业思政教育的前沿阵地。该课程的人文特性决定了课程思政建设的必要性和可行性。以该课程所用教材(《现代大学英语》)为例,思政元素不但可从知识产生的背景以及中西文化的对比中去挖掘,而且还可联系现实,结合时事热点挖掘。同时,思政元素需要以隐性的方式全方位融入到教学中。
As the core course for English majors in grades one and two, the course “Basic English” has be-come the forefront of ideological and political education for English majors. The humanistic fea-ture of this course decides the necessity and feasibility of ideological and political education in the course. Taking the textbook used in this course (Contemporary College English) as an example, we can find ideological and political elements can not only be explored from the background of knowledge and the comparison of Chinese and Western cultures, but also be explored by connecting with the reality and current hot topics. Meanwhile, ideological and political elements need to be fully integrated into teaching in an implicit manner.
