Abstract:

Coronary artery aneurysms is an abnormal dilation of the coronary artery and is a cardiovascular disease that is not common but also not rare, with an incidence rate of 0.3%~5.3%. Currently, there is a lack of randomized trials or large-scale epidemiological surveys on patients with coronary ar-tery ectasia, so the management of these patients poses a significant challenge for cardiologists and clinicians. In many cases, coronary artery aneurysm is incidentally discovered during coronary an-giography, and the pathogenesis is still controversial. Treatment options include surgical operation, percutaneous coronary intervention, and medical therapy. This article mainly focuses on the clinical characteristics of coronary artery aneurysm in terms of etiology, pathogenesis, pathophysiology, diagnosis, and treatment, providing clinical evidence for further management.
