视觉设计在数字化时代的背景下，已占据极其重要且不可或缺的地位。在当前新媒体时代的背景下，视觉设计被赋予了新的含义，同时逐渐多元化发展。随着智能化、信息化和数字化等多元化的发展，数字媒体等日益影响着视觉设计的发展及走向。如今，虚拟与现实的碰撞与结合，视觉设计的语言也包罗万象。比较有代表性的是当前VR技术的创新及应用，正引领着视觉设计的新风潮。因此，数字化时代为我们的视觉设计创造条件与机遇的同时，也给我们带来了前所未有的挑战。
Visual design plays an extremely important and indispensable role in the digital age. In the context of the current new media era, visual design has been given a new meaning, and gradually diversified development. With the development of intelligentization, informationization and digitalization, digital media are increasingly affecting the development and direction of visual design. Nowadays, the collision and combination of virtual and reality, the language of visual design is also all-encompassing. More representative is the current innovation and application of VR technology, which is leading the new trend of visual design. Therefore, while the digital age creates conditions and opportunities for our visual design, it also brings us unprecedented challenges.
