《中国古代服饰研究》的价值探析

《中国古代服饰研究》是沈从文古代服饰研究的精华所在，在书中他构筑起了较为庞大完整的中国古代服饰文化体系，并尝试性地提出了若干问题，为后人的研究提出了方向。同时，他以文献、诗文与实物互证的研究方法，为服饰研究提供了研究方法指导和借鉴。书中对于服饰的相关研究也对其他关联学科产生了很大的影响，考古学、训诂学尤为典型。沈从文关于中国古代服饰的研究虽然存在着一定的不足，但其在学术以及实用方面的价值却是不可估量的。
“Research on Ancient Chinese Clothing” is the essence of Shen Congwen’s ancient clothing research, in which he constructs a relatively large and complete ancient Chinese clothing culture system, and tentatively puts forward a number of questions, which puts forward the direction for the research of future generations. At the same time, he provides research method guidance and reference for clothing research with the research method of literature, poetry and physical evidence. The study of clothing in the book has also had a great impact on other related disciplines, especially archaeology and hermeneutics. Although Shen Congwen’s research on ancient Chinese clothing has certain deficiencies, its academic and practical value is immeasurable.
