Under the background of the “double reduction” policy, the development opportunities and challenges of public libraries coexist. By analyzing the current situation of urban reading space in Chuzhou City, we propose strategies that can help promote the efficient implementation of reading activities, improve the reading literacy of primary and secondary school students, promote their comprehensive development, and promote universal reading.
