翻译转换理论视角下后置定语的翻译策略研究
A Study on the Translation Strategies of Postpositional Attributives from the Per-spective of Translation Shifts Theory

与汉语句子中的定语相比，英语的后置定语结构通常长而复杂，必须用适当的翻译方法来应对。本文在卡特福德翻译转换的指导下，以英语后置定语的句法特点和语义特点为切入点，分析具体的句法形式的不同语义特征，根据其语义特点深入探讨复杂的后置定语的翻译技巧，寻求最佳的翻译策略。希望能在翻译后置定语时给译者带来新的思考，同时也给后置定语的汉译提供一定的参考与借鉴，为后置定语的翻译做一点贡献。
Compared with the attributive in Chinese sentences, the postattributive structure in English is usu-ally long and complex, which must be dealt with by appropriate translation methods. Under the guidance of Catford’s translation shifts theory, this paper, taking the syntactic and semantic fea-tures of English postattributive as the starting point, analyzes the different semantic features of specific syntactic forms, explores the translation skills of complex postattributive based on its se-mantic characteristics, and seeks the best translation strategy. It is hoped that the translation of postattributive attributes can bring new thinking to the translator, and also provide certain refer-ences for the Chinese translation of postattributive attributes, and make some contributions to the translation of postattributive attributes.
