表示“状态”的日语近义动词、形容词对比研究——以在小说中的分布与功能为中心
A Contrastive Study of Japanese Synonymous Verbs and Adjectives Representing “State”—Taking the Distribution and Function in the Novel as Center

本文以时间限定性视角下表示“状态”的日语近义动词、形容词为研究对象，试图分析其在小说中分布与功能的异同。结果发现，无论是在小说的“会话部分”，还是在“具体事件叙述部分”，动词的使用都多于形容词。就句法功能来说，动词在“会话部分”和“具体事件叙述部分”中都多作谓语。而形容词虽在“会话部分”中多作谓语，但在“具体事件叙述部分”中则多作定语。本文是针对日语动词和形容词连续性这一问题进行的实证性研究，为日语谓语体系的研究奠定了实证基础。
The object of this paper is to investigate the differences and similarities in the distribution and functions of Japanese synonymous verbs and adjectives that express “state” from the temporal localization perspective in novels. The results showed that verbs are used more often than adjectives in both the “conversational part” and the “event-specific narrative part” of the novel. In terms of syntactic function, verbs are more often used as predicates in both the “conversational part” and the “event-specific narrative part”. Adjectives, on the other hand, are mostly used as predicates in the “conversational part” but as determiners in the “narrative part”. This paper is an empirical study on the continuity of Japanese verbs and adjectives, which lays an empirical foundation for the study of the Japanese predicate system.
