卢卡奇作为西方马克思主义的开辟者和奠基人，其批判理论和哲学思想在国内外都有着广泛而深远的影响。尤其是卢卡奇在《历史与阶级意识》一书中探讨的“物化”思想，极大的推动了20世纪西方马克思主义发展的进程，即使在今天也具有重要的理论价值。在社会经济和科技快速发展的今天，我们生活在一个充满商品的“熔炉”里，物化在现时代有了许多新的表现形式，面对生活中的物化现象，如果把握不好，人就会被异化，影响个人和社会的健康发展。因此，重新理解和认识卢卡奇的物化思想，挖掘其中积极的部分，不仅为我们分析现代社会的物化现象提供合理理论支撑，而且也有利于我们采取更加积极有效的措施来克服它，降低资本主义社会“物化病”在社会主义社会的发生率，从而促进人自由而全面的发展。
