Abstract:

英语和文化有着千丝万缕的联系。在中学英语教学中,学生要面对大量的语言素材。在中学英语教学中,由于教师对词汇教学的轻视,造成了学生的学习效率低下,记忆困难等一系列的问题。在这一背景下,笔者从跨文化意识这一视角出发,探讨了在中学英语教学过程中,对学生进行跨文化交际的重要意义,并就如何增加学生的英语词汇量,增强英语词汇的学习成效,提出了相应的对策。
English is a language that is inextricably linked to culture. In teaching English in secondary schools, students are confronted with a large amount of language materials. However, the disregard for vocabulary teaching in secondary English teaching has caused a series of problems such as students’ low learning efficiency and difficulty in memorization. In this context, the author discusses the importance of intercultural communication for students in the process of teaching English in secondary schools from the perspective of intercultural awareness, and proposes corresponding counter-measures on how to increase students’ English vocabulary and enhance the effectiveness of English vocabulary learning.
