The Low-Temperature Relationship at “The End of the Century”—On Bi Feiyu’s Rain Falls in Torrents and Two Bottles of Wine

20世纪末，随着商品经济的迅速发展，毕飞宇开始转向对人的生存境遇与现状的观察与思考。他善于观察生活细节，敏锐地捕捉时代变迁中人们内心的冲突与矛盾，《大雨如注》和《两瓶酒》中截取了现实生活的横断面，通过对个体及个体之间人际关系焦虑、异化地书写，表现现代社会人与人之间的低温关系。
At the end of the 20th century, with the rapid development of the commodity economy, Bi Feiyu began to observe and think about the living conditions and status quo of human beings. He is good at observing the details of life, and keenly captures the conflicts and contradictions in people’s hearts in the changing times. Rain Falls in Torrents and Two Bottles of Wine intercept the cross- section of real life, through the analysis of the anxiety of individuals and interpersonal relationships.
